For the production of lead glazing we only use valuable lightfast cathedral glass. The cutting of the individual pieces of glass and adapting to the lead profile and the subsequent soldering of the individual lead profiles are very time consuming and require a high degree of precision and craftsmanship, which explains our price for these special lanterns.
